Towards full automation of systematic literature reviews

ABSTRACT

The article aims to present the automation aspects of particular phases of the systematic literature review to put forward a thesis about the possibility of full automation of this process. The study was conducted through a systematic review of the literature on the automation of writing processes. It presents the methods and techniques for automating the formulation of research questions, locating studies, selecting and evaluating studies, analyzing and synthesizing, reporting and using the results. Finally, it discusses the pros and cons of a systematic literature review full automation procedure suggesting further research on this topic. Due to the very low development level of automation of scientific writing in the field of management, this review was mainly of literature in the field of health sciences. However, the conclusions also apply to other sciences, including management and marketing.
